Are mechanical kitchen scales accurate?
I measure just about everything in grams, especially in baking, where cup measurements are just a little bit too “approximate” for me. For years I have used a digital scale, and it is certainly nice to place a bowl directly on scale, zero it, and weight out an ingredient. It is extremely accurate, but there are some downsides.
